Trace the eye muscle or place a caliper on the fat layer of an accepted image. These are direct measurements you make, not model predictions: Genemap stores your outline or caliper, works the value out from the image's scale, and records who measured it and when. Your tracings are kept — later they teach the automatic measurement.
Second-measurer and blinded re-measures are compared with the primary measurement of the same image: mean difference, 95 % limits of agreement and the intraclass correlation (1 = perfect agreement).
Writes each animal's eye muscle area and fat depths for this session — the mean of the primary measurements on its accepted images — to your phenotype records as direct ultrasound measurements. Only measurements made here can be sent; a value cannot be typed in. Ultrasound IMF is not sent: no IMF model has passed its accuracy test.
