Reaction-norm slopesG×E per animal

Per-trait sensitivity slopes (Kolmodin / Calus model) capture how an animal's EBV changes with the environment — drought tolerance, heat stress, pasture quality. When fitted slopes are present, the engine applies them at rank time so the index reflects realised performance under YOUR farm's climate context.

Where do slopes come from? True per-animal slopes are fitted from multi-environment progeny data (across regions × years). For now, this surface accepts manual entries from breed-society reports or your own analytics. Genemap's automated slope-fitting pipeline is on the roadmap (G×E reaction-norm fitting from on-farm phenotypes).
