Phenotypes & progeny tests
Run a progeny test of your bulls — record from birth-weight + calving ease, through 200/400/600-day weights, AHA-scanned EMA/RIB/P8/IMF, and carcase feedback. Trait codes follow BREEDPLAN; records feed Genemap's own single-step evaluation of your herd. Genemap does not send data to BREEDPLAN or TACE.
Active & planning trials
1. Trial details
2. Test bulls + link bulls
Why link bulls? A "link" bull is one with progeny in both your herd and the broader Trans-Tasman Angus Cattle Evaluation (TACE) pedigree. Without at least one, your data can't be benchmarked across herds. Use AI to common reference sires (e.g. ASBP reference bulls) or pick a bull with widespread industry progeny.
3. Cow base
Pick the cow pool to use. Cows will be auto-linked once you record their calves.

Genemap-branded export
Download a single Genemap-branded workbook with every stage of your trial — birth, 200-day, 400-day + scans, 600-day, mature, repro, carcase. Take it where it suits: Angus Australia (TACE), your service provider, your consultant, or just keep it on file.
