Single-step GBLUP
Multi-trait Henderson MME. Pedigree A and genomic G blended via the H-matrix (Christensen-Lund 2010). EBVs become GEBVs the moment SNP genotypes are loaded.
EBVS · GENOMICS · PHENOTYPES · NUTRITION · MARKETS · LIVE INDEX
Genemap pulls in your national EBVs / ASBVs, your genomic test results, your weighing and carcase records, your pasture and climate context, and current market signals — and continuously rebuilds a single dollar-value index for every animal in your operation, tuned to your enterprise. Real-time. Per animal. Per trait. Yours alone.
Two streams · one platform
Genemap runs as two independent streams under one login. Sheep-specific traits, breed economics, and comparison peers on one side; beef-specific calf-crop economics, growth + carcase axis, and BREEDPLAN / Zoetis Inherit Select / IGS / Igenity Beef integration on the other. Pick once on sign-in; switch any time.
Wool · Maternal · Terminal · Shedding
Built for MerinoSelect and LAMBPLAN producers. Bring your published ASBVs, your genomic test results, and your own phenotype records — Genemap turns them into a live, enterprise-tuned dollar value for every animal you own.
Bos taurus · Bos indicus · Composites
Built for BREEDPLAN, Zoetis Inherit Select, IGS and Igenity Beef users. Bring your EBVs, genomic test results and your own kill-sheet feedback — Genemap turns them into a live, enterprise-tuned dollar value for every animal you own.
The approach
Sheep ASBVs and Cattle EBVs can be downloaded and dragged and dropped. Then Genemap layers per-farm bioeconomic weights, your own phenotype recordings, single-step genomic re-evaluation, microbiome and feed-efficiency data, pasture and climate context, and live market signals — turning previously static breeding values into live data specific to your farm operation in your location.
EVALUATION LAYERS
National-scale evaluation has historically run on pedigree + a handful of phenotypes. Genemap stacks eight evaluation layers and re-runs the solver every time any of them updates.
Multi-trait Henderson MME. Pedigree A and genomic G blended via the H-matrix (Christensen-Lund 2010). EBVs become GEBVs the moment SNP genotypes are loaded.
VanRaden 2008 G-matrix from your SNPs. 35+ catalogued major-gene variants — Booroola, all FecX/GDF9 fertility loci, MSTN-Texel, Callipyge, MTNR1A, PRNP, parasite resistance — applied with proper dominance modes.
Walk-over weighing webhooks, processor carcase feedback (Gundagai, JBS, Thomas Foods, Fletcher), lambing event logs, classer scores. Each batch fires a streaming Bayesian update on the affected animals' BVs.
Rumen microbiome ingest in two flavours: 16S taxonomy and gene-level RNA expression mapped through KEGG pathways. Predictive feedback into trait realisation is a documented framework; on by default once validated per-farm models are registered.
Schema and CSV ingest for daily DMI, ADG (g/d sheep convention), FCR, residual feed intake (RFI) and respiration-chamber methane are live. Direct device-to-cloud feeds are on the roadmap — bring data in via CSV today.
Pasture ME ceiling vs each animal's genetic potential ADG. When the gap opens up, $ merit is discounted — the animal can't realise on the country it's on.
Breed-class × THI climate shift plus a per-animal pasture-gap penalty re-rank animals to your country, not just scale them. Per-animal reaction-norm slopes are a documented hook that activates the day a real G×E analysis lands.
ESTLI, store lamb, mutton, AWEX micron index, grain and hay drive the bioeconomic weights, which anchor to a specific market_data_id so you can audit which weights produced which rank — each update date-stamped.
DECISION TOOLS
Every engine outputs a number you can take to a sale, a tender, a vet, an agronomist, a buyer or your accountant.
Every $/EBV-unit derived from your enterprise type, breeding system, lambing pattern, retention rates, target spec and live market data. Anthropic Claude proposes the weights, you override anything live.
Maximum justifiable bid for any sire under your service-life NPV, with P10/P50/P90 from a 1000-sample Monte Carlo. Lambing system, age-at-first-lambing and MTNR1A genotype all feed in.
Auto-mob grouping and min-cost-flow mate allocation under per-generation inbreeding caps (Meuwissen 1997 OCS). Top-N sires per mob with predicted progeny merit decomposed by trait.
Annual, split, 3-in-2, Cornell STAR (5-in-3, 7.2-mo). Yearling vs hogget vs 2yo joining. Lambs-weaned-per- ewe-per-year is the metric, not lambs-per-lambing.
Pollak-Quaas crossbred-BLUP heterosis covariate at the $-merit layer. F1 / composite animals get credit for non-additive gain that pure-additive indexes miss.
Framework wired today: bilateral, revocable consent + the shared-reference scaffolding. Accuracy uplift goes live when the pooled-solver back-end ships — until then, your own reference population drives the index. SNPs and pedigree will pool; phenotypes and breeding values never cross.
Re-index any animal — own flock, listing, or consenting partner — under your farm profile, your property's climate, your feed, your weights. The same $ for everyone is gone.
Anthropic Claude wired into Genemap with your live herd context — flock profit, ram MC, animal detail, microbiome, mate allocation — all RLS-scoped to your data. Ask "why is this ram ranked 4th?" and get a numeric answer grounded in your own numbers.
Every formula documented, every coefficient visible, every citation inline. Override any economic weight, any genetic correlation, any heritability — watch the rank shift.
