How this actually works

Tier 1: ~20 native ingestors handle the top breed societies (BREEDPLAN, IGS, AAA, ICBF, NAV, Sheep Genetics, SIL, NSIP, etc) deterministically. Tier 2: every other source dispatches to the Genemap eval-translate Edge Function, which calls Claude with the source value + Genemap's canonical trait vocabulary. Confidence below 0.7 is flagged for human review. Results are cached so the same input never re-calls the AI.
